EVER WONDER WHY?
Have you ever had a question so hard you wouldn’t even say it out loud? Or a doubt so big you didn’t feel like you could share it—especially at church? Maybe it’s time to ask the tough questions together this January in our new teaching series, Ever Wonder Why?
January in Kids & Youth…
Uptown Kids
God is faithful and present, always working in our lives. We might have seasons when we feel knocked down, and seasons when we feel on top of the world, but rain or shine, God is always with us, and His power, grace and love sees us through all seasons of life, and He knows just how we feel.
Tot Street and Little Village
A friend who loves you through all of the ups and downs of your emotions its a good friend. They sit with you when you’re sad. They rejoice with you when you’re happy. They comfort you when you’re afraid. And they celebrate with you when you’re excited. Jesus is always that kind of friend. Jesus is always a good friend!
Transit and Motion
What does it really mean to be happy? Whether they realize it or not, it’s a question that most young people are asking. And so many of the emotions they feel are anything but happy. As we’ll see in this series in both Transit (school years 6-8) and Motion, (school years 9-13)emotions are not bad. In fact, the way of Jesus means you are free to feel. God shows up in all of your feelings and gives us space to feel. And Jesus says that is real happiness.
