The heart is at the centre of everything. It shapes what we love, what we pursue, how we respond to people, and ultimately who we become. The Bible is clear that God is far more concerned with the condition of our hearts than our outward appearance or religious performance.  When we choose to follow Jesus, He doesn’t simply ask us to change our behaviour—He transforms us from the inside out.

Following Jesus means allowing Him to examine our hearts, remove what doesn’t belong, and shape us to become more like Him. It’s not always comfortable, but it’s always necessary. As we surrender to His work, He heals what is broken, softens what has become hard, and forms a heart that reflects His.
