JOIN US SUNDAY

Come as you are….

Sundays at Forge Community Church are designed to make faith practical at every stage of life.

MAKE SUNDAY

THE BEST DAY OF YOUR WEEK

Every Sunday morning a whole bunch of kids, young people and adults meet together from 10.30 at Debenham Leisure Centre for one hour. On arrival our team will direct you into the building from the car park. As you’re walking to the building you’ll receive a warm welcome and guided to one of our Adult, Youth or Kids venues. Our services last for around an hour, there is practical teaching and live music from our band.

HOW LONG IS A SERVICE AT THE FORGE?

Our services last for a maximum of an hour each Sunday. However, we suggest arriving or tuning in at least 10mins before the service begins to allow plenty of time to get settled and to be a part of our pre-service build up.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO BELIEVE TO COME TO CHURCH?

If you’re not sure on this whole Christianity thing, you’re in the right place! Everything we do is designed with people like you in mind. You won’t be alone, we have many people that connect with the Forge from complete sceptics and simply curious, to full-blown, sold-out believers. Whatever your views on faith, church, Christianity or Jesus, you are very welcome. We’d love to get to know you!

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING IN CHURCH?

No, please just come as you are. We can guarantee that you won’t be put on the spot, singled out or embarrassed and we certainly won’t fire questions at you. We’d love to get to know you, but most of all, we just want to answer your questions and hope that you to enjoy the experience!

WHAT HAPPENS ON A SUNDAY AT THE FORGE?

Our aim is to create a contemporary service that offers clear next steps for everyone – no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

Our friendly hosts will walk you through everything that’s going on. We tend to involve our talented music team who will lead us in a time of engaging music. Finally, our speaker will deliver a message from the Bible that’s tied into our everyday lives.

CAN I BRING MY FAMILY TO CHURCH?

We believe that kids and young people are a crucial element of our community; they are at the heart of all we do. From babies all the way up to teenagers, we have crafted content that is built for every age-group.

All our leaders (aside from being well trained and background checked) love having fun and paying attention to what’s going on in the life of your child or young person.

DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO GO TO CHURCH?

Not at all; as a visitor we are simply grateful you would choose to connect with us. The work of the Forge is funded through the unbelievably generous, regular donations of those that call our church ‘home’. No one is under any obligation to partake in this.

Each week we stress how important it is to generously give back to a God who has been lavishly kind to us; but this is only for those that wish to do so.

Forge Online

Every week we have a dedicated online service for those that can’t be in the room, or for those that just prefer doing church online!

The service is short and informal. We also produce online content for your kids so they can join in the fun too.

FAMILY MATTERS

The Forge is a church that knows the importance of family. We believe this is. We believe that kids and young people are a crucial element of our community; they are at the heart of all we do.

Forge Kids

In Forge Kids our aim is to create appealing enviroments where children can have amazing fun and learn more about faith.

Forge Youth

Forge Youth is about going through life together – the good and the bad. We want to create an environment where we recognise that none of us are perfect, but that everyone is welcome.

Forge Music

We will often start a service with a fun chart topper, or pop classic. We love the way that music unites people and we hope that playing a song everyone is familiar with (whether you attend every week or it’s your first time) is something we can all enjoy!

The music we play creates an environment that allows you to connect with God and with one another. We borrow songs from churches and artists around the world to find styles and lyrics that convey something of our gratitude to God or our desire to see change in our world.
