Encounter at the Forge is simply an opportunity to seek God, pray, worship and take communion together.
Every so often, we make space to slow down, turn our attention towards God and simply be with Him.
Encounter is an extended evening of worship, prayer and seeking God together. There’s no big agenda and no pressure to perform. We create space to worship, listen, pray and respond to whatever God might be doing in us and around us.
Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years, you’re just beginning to explore faith, or you’re not really sure what you believe yet — you’re welcome at Encounter.
Our Sundays are full of great things, but sometimes we need more time.
Expect extended worship led by the Forge worship team, moments of prayer and reflection, and opportunities to respond as we seek God together.
There’s no expectation that you need to have the right words, sing every song or know exactly what you’re doing. Come as you are.

What happens at an Encounter?
Every Encounter is a little different, but you can expect:
Extended worship
Time to sing, respond and focus our attention on God.
Prayer
Space to pray for yourself, for others and for the things happening in our world.
Space to listen
Moments to slow down, be still and make room to hear from God.
Communion
We share communion together at every Encounter — remembering Jesus, His sacrifice and the hope we have because of Him. (always gluten free and alcohol free)
Community
A chance to seek God alongside other people from across the Forge community.
