Away in a Hamper 2026
Help make Christmas special for families across Mid-Suffolk.
Christmas is a time for generosity, celebration and spending time with the people we love. But for some families, the rising cost of everyday essentials means that Christmas can bring extra pressure rather than joy.
That’s where Away in a Hamper comes in.
For just £50, you can help provide a family with a Christmas turkey and all the trimmings, giving them the ingredients for a special Christmas meal and one less thing to worry about during what can be a challenging time of year.
It’s a simple way to make a real difference to a family in our local community.

“This year, with the cost-of-living crisis, I wouldn’t have been able to provide Christmas dinner for my children without your help.”
Small sacrifices, big difference
Could you skip your takeaway coffees for a month and put that money towards a hamper?
Perhaps you could get your work colleagues involved in a collection, or team up with friends,
family or your small group to sponsor a hamper together.
Every contribution helps, and by working together, we can help more families experience a little extra kindness and generosity this Christmas.
Get your workplace involved
Away in a Hamper is also a brilliant opportunity for local businesses and employers to make a practical difference in the communities where they work.
Whether you’re looking to sponsor a number of hampers as a business, organise a staff fundraising initiative or explore another way to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
To discuss corporate sponsorship or find out more, please get in touch with Matt Brown.
